Iron Vault's Freelance Trainers and Coaches

Ren Tipton

Hi, I'm Ren Tipton and I help people move better and get stronger. Since 2014, I have coached people of all shapes and sizes to feel empowered in themselves in and out of the gym. Our time together will be spent developing realistic goals, mastering the basics of strength training, and improving mobility. Positive changes in your body will simply be a byproduct of a training program you enjoy. Are you ready to explore what your body is really capable of?

Are you just getting started in the gym and want to build confidence and a stronger, healthier body? Maybe you're a competitive strength athlete or a recreational lifter looking to finally compete. Are you ready to build muscle and shed some fat, but you struggle with chronic pain, a nagging injury, or a hectic life schedule?

Do you want to work with a coach who has over a decade of experience yet is fun, down-to-earth, and relatable? I combine good old fashioned hard work with smart programming and the latest technology to get you pain-free, high performing, and looking and feeling your best. Let's start with a chat.

Ryan L'Ecuyer

Since the age of 9 years old Ryan has been unusually obsessed with the limits of human potential, specifically relating to muscle growth, strength, and physical output. This interest naturally led to a career as a Personal Trainer and Coach. While his passion lies primarily in hypertrophy and strength training, he is generally fascinated by the body’s ability to adapt to varying degrees of stress and enjoys the process of identifying and applying the appropriate input based on the client’s needs and goals. Professionally, Ryan has coached clients both in-person and remotely, ranging from the ages of 9-90 years old with an interest in bodybuilding, powerlifting, tennis, golf, swimming, and injury prevention/recovery.

He has appeared on multiple podcasts including Bro Research Radio, Rebel Performance Radio, and the Muscle Memoirs Podcast, and has been featured as a keynote speaker at Flo Retreat Center in Uvita, Costa Rica. In 2014, Ryan achieved Pro status as a natural bodybuilder in the INBF and recently totaled 1600+ in the USAPL.

When Ryan is not lifting weights or reading about lifting weights he can be found receiving confused looks at the local skatepark.

Now that I’m done awkwardly talking about myself in the third person, I’d like to say that I really enjoy training at FeV for the local, BS-free feel. It has a great community and energy that accommodates all levels of fitness. I am proud and grateful to take part in the growth of the Iron Vault!

Kristina Viniar

Hi, I’m Kristina! I specialize in helping women aged 30 to 65 gain confidence and body awareness through strength training and other modalities. If you are new to lifting, a returning post-partum mamma, overcoming an injury, or just coming back from long vacation from working out; I can help you get back to feeling strong and moving pain-free.

I began my coaching career in 2009 at Texas State University working with track athletes. While there, I learned how to help each body perform to its highest potential while working around injuries and helping the athletes recover. This led me to learn from the best and brightest thought leaders in wellness so I could improve my clients' results. And now, over a decade later, I’ve had the pleasure of coaching teams, CrossFit athletes, Parkinson’s patients, weekend warriors, and pre/post partum women alike.

I offer a complete training, nutrition, and support package for my clients. I know that the path to your success is through your body, nutrition habits, and mindset; so I developed a program that helps you leverage the power of all three.

Based on the success I've had with women just like you in the past, I know I can help you improve your health while loving and honoring the body that you’re in. As an added benefit of working with me, you may gain a little extra sass and a pep in your step visible to you and those around you.

My certifications and specialties: ISSA Certified Personal Trainer, ISSA Specilist in Fitness Nutrition, ISSA Specialist in Strength & Conditioning, ISSA Specialist in Group Fitness, ISAA Specialist in Bodybuilding, ISSA Certified Master Trainer, Certified Dynamax Medicine Ball Coach.

First of all thanks to Iron Vault Gym for giving me the privilege of being part of a group of trainers where everyone are excellent trainers! This is the best gym in Austin that not only has the best training equipment but also the best customer service and the best environment.

My name is Marcos, I was born and raised in Sabinas Coahuila, Mexico where my passion for strength and fitness training began there (when I was 18 years old, I am currently 31), and since 2016 I moved to Austin to work as a trainer (I really love it) and where I also met the love of my life.

I started as a personal trainer in 2012.

My big passion! Time flies when I'm in action. I started being an autodidactic but it is also true that many teachers and athletes have had a great impact on my knowledge, and the experience with so many clients from that year to the current date is what has most positively impacted my learning (thanks to all of you!). "The more you know, the more you realize that there is a lot to learn."

Whatever goal you want to achieve: weight loss, gain strength, build muscle mass, or simply have a good time working out in order to eliminate stress, or whatever goal, I will help and support you, I will never go against your personal wishes. I will listen to you, I will educate you, I will motivate you, I will make you discover that super power, I will give you information so that in case you want to go up to the next level, we can do it together.

I love strength training because more than lifting pounds I associate it with self-improvement, stress relief and time for myself.

I love training clients because I like to positively impact in the lives of people (mentally, emotionally, health and strength) with the ability and talent that life / universe / god has given me, not only in the moment but forever (the feeling is incredible when a client remembers you for years).

My hobbies are: Reading a lot about training and also emotional intelligence, because I like to know more about human behavior, emotions, etc. and it also allows me to know myself even more, in addition to the fact that this topic is closely related to my work as a trainer, I consider that more than knowing about training and nutrition, it is also important to understand people's emotions in order to know the most appropriate way to share knowledge with a client, "It does not matter so much what you say if it is not accompanied by an emotion, it is much more valuable how you make people feel." Spending time with my wife, with friends, running, hiking and playing ps4.

If you are ready for one of the best transformation of your life,

I have much more to say so if you want to know more just contact me.

It will be a great pleasure to meet and listen you.

Patrick Davis
Instagram @theillestpd

Hey everybody !   My name is Patrick Davis and I am a proud personal trainer at the best gym in Austin !

I truly love my job, and the opportunity to help people grow physically, mentally, and emotionally.   We will build not only your physique, but your resolve, your patience, grit and your self-confidence !   My clients are at every experience level, from beginner (until we meet!) up to very advanced lifters just looking to get from 95% to 100 !!

Talk to me about my client results, both in terms of strength, aesthetics, injury prevention, and improvement of both static and dynamic posture.   You won’t be disappointed !    If results are what you’re looking for, I’m your guy !    Tell me your goals and I will draw us a route to get there as quickly, efficiently, and effectively as possible.

I am certified as a NASM-CPT and also hold the NASM-FNS certification.    I began my training career with a year of clinical experience as the head physical therapy tech at Mondo Sports Therapy, assisting our doctors with administration of corrective exercise resistance training programs.   This deep anatomical knowledge of the body, both at rest and in motion, fueled my ability as both a coach and competitor and is a big part of the success of my programming today !

I also have significant experience as both a coach and competitor in NPC bodybuilding, so no fat loss or muscle gain goal is something I haven’t seen before !!   I also have significant experience in building various metrics of athletic performance — strength, explosivity, balance and conditioning.  I attribute this to a life-long athletic background, ending with a brief career on a Division 1 track program, the Virginia Military Institute, before ultimately leaving school to focus on my true passion — training you !!

Much love everybody !   Hope to hear from you and get you moving towards your goals!!

Megan Henrich

My name is Megan, and I’m from Charleston, SC. I moved to Austin in 2020 to pursue my masters in Clinical Social Work at UT. Hook ‘em! I found a passion for weight training in college as a way to care for my physical and mental health. Now, I’m a certified personal trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and I’m passionate about helping other women feel strong and empowered through building muscle, lifting heavy, and living an active lifestyle.

As a Women’s Fitness Specialist, I’ve worked with clients of all ages, skill-levels, and stages of life (including pregnancy and postpartum). My background as a mental health professional informs my holistic approach to fitness, and I value wellness and sustainability in helping my clients meet their fitness goals. When I’m not training clients, you can find me reading at the newest coffee shop or walking on town lake trail.

How many times have you questioned your purpose, your abilities, your destiny? For the longest time those questioned swarmed my thoughts. My journey was quite nomadic. From my early years as a collegiate football player, to a successful career in oil and gas, to selling product for a reputable health supplement brand, to where I am today - a Personal trainer and professional sweat dealer. Each stepping stone in time held a common theme: I loved working hard, teaching others how to do the same, and creating relationships that allowed me to watch others succeed.

Lets discuss the elephant in the room. Yes, I’m 6’ 225 lbs, and often an XL shirt is too small. I can thank my “personal approach”  to my dad who, at the age of 15, handed me a copy of  Arnold Schwarzenegger's “How To Build a Chest Like A Fortress.” I know, cheesy, but it sparked a passion. It was then I started building my knowledge in exercise science and nutrition.  Unbeknownst to me, this would be the first step towards living my purpose, capitalizing on my abilities, and achieving my destiny of educating others in fitness and nutrition.

For the past 15 years I have soaked up knowledge like a sponge.  From nutrition, exercise modalities, supplements, adding muscle / losing fat;  You name it, I've studied it! Just like you, I have my own physical goals. While my goals and yours may differ, it’s my passion that will show you how to attain them.  I've worked with all shapes and size, men and women, young and old. The goal is constant - helping each individual achieve a mind and body that makes them healthy, happy, and self confident..

Noemi Matos

Fitness has been a part of my life since 2009. Over the course of the past 6 years, I really began honing in my skills, knowledge, and experience as not only a Group Fitness Coach but as Personal Trainer. I love that people are like puzzles, not every piece will fit where it looks like it should, and not everyone comes together the same way. The part of my job that I enjoy most is figuring out how exactly each individual moves, where we can work on imbalances and weakness, and turn them into not only strength gains, but the best possible quality of movement throughout your days and lives!

I have a Bachelors of Science in Biology, and worked as a Coastal Ecologist, but life had other plans when we moved to Austin! I began my journey as a Group Fitness Instructor then got recruited into the Personal Training world by people who saw my potential and attention to detail. I also did competitive Powerlifting, and have a few medals under my belt. My passion is form and technique when it comes to exercise and fitness. I want you to move to the best of your ability, whether it's recovering from an injury or just trying to max out a deadlift! As important as form is, I also emphasize recovery and hands on body release techniques and a certification in Orthopedic Myofascial Release.
